Mt. St Maryâs relies on the three pointers shooting over 40% of their shots from beyond the arch which is always a risk. Albany has had the time to prepare and should have a game plan in place to defend. On the other hand Albany will take nearly 75% of their shots from inside and thatâs where they will have an advantage. Mt. St. Maryâs is arguably the worst defense in any post season tourney. Their adjusted defensive ranking for SOS is 287, but against the 2 they ranked 337th against poor offenses. I expect Albany to continue their dominance on neutral court where they have gone 10-1 ATS in their last 11.
